Income

People's health is very much situated in their life experiences and so their levels of health are likely to reflect their social situation. It is recognised that poverty and ill-health can go hand in hand. The richer, better-educated people tend to live longer than poorer, less-educated people. However overall health standards in developed countries are highly dependent on how equal or unequal are people's incomes.

Below are resources relating to income which have been organised at both a regional and national level.
