Website portals developed for those involved in the joint strategic needs process
The Department of Health (HILI) has worked with Strategic Partners across Charities and Voluntary Groups and with LGID for Local Authorities and Council to create two new webportals.
Developed specifically for health analysts, local authority planners, service providers, commissioners, charities and voluntary groups involved in the Joint Strategic Needs process in www.idea.gov.uk/health and www.vodg.org.uk/jsna-resources.html provides the latest research on JSNA outcomes and challenges across England.
Ideal for local authorities and council, charities and voluntary organisations, local involvement networks (LINks) and commissioners and policy leads involved in the development of JSNAs for local communities, www.idea.gov.uk/health and www.vodg.org.uk/jsna-resources.html portals offer ways to maxmise benefits from the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment process.
"From learning about how different authorities have met the challenges of JSNA development through to the provision of case study examples across different sectors, to key findings and toolkits for identifying and finding solutions that meet the health and well-being needs of a variety of target groups, to the significant contribution that charities and voluntary groups can bring to the JSNA process.
